Brain mapping: a clearer path to diagnosis
At The Apex Practice, brain mapping sits at the heart of truly understanding mental health. Rather than relying solely on symptoms or guesswork, this advanced diagnostic approach allows us to see how your brain is actually functioning. By identifying patterns of activity linked to conditions such as anxiety and insomnia, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, ADHD and brain fog brain mapping provides clarity and confidence in diagnosis. This deeper insight helps us understand not just what you’re experiencing, but why it’s happening.

A non-invasive window into brain function
Brain mapping is completely non-invasive and painless, designed to observe rather than interfere. During the session, you wear a lightweight cap fitted with 19 sensors that gently record electrical brain activity. Much like a thermometer measures temperature, the process simply gathers data without altering brain function. The results are analysed against an FDA-approved database, allowing us to identify areas that are underactive or overactive that may contribute to specific symptoms.
Personalised treatment, informed by data
After analysing your brain mapping data, we generate a comprehensive, understandable report that highlights the areas requiring attention. This information forms the foundation of a tailored treatment plan, ensuring care is specific to your brain rather than based on broad assumptions. By understanding the neurological roots of each individual’s challenges, we can create a clear, informed way forward that supports healthier brain function and long-term wellbeing.
