Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy – the treatment of choice

Before we treat ‘your fear of birds’ we search for the underlying causes of your fear and what factors or triggerpoints maintain it: i.e. past trauma, social conditioning, negative events/experiences. Recovery commences with a pre-treatment comprehensive assessment that will allow us to have a full understanding of your phobia. We will use a combination of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and clinical hypnotherapy to weaken and then remove your irrational fears. Treatment typically requires 4 – 5 therapy sessions at regular weekly intervals.
