Clinical hypnotherapy – the proven therapy for IBS management
Recovery commences when you attend for a pre-treatment comprehensive assessment. At this session we will examine all the factors that may have led to your IBS and what trigger points or other situations maintain it. We will investigate family relationships, employment pressures, environmental factors, personal relationships, diet and other associated issues.
We will then prepare a therapy programme to help bring about your recovery based upon clinical hypnotherapy over several sessions at regular weekly intervals. We will also investigate other underlying issues that are often lodged deep within the sub-conscious.
Why is clinical hypnotherapy effective at treating IBS?
It has been discovered that stress, anxiety and depression and other emotional disorders can all contribute to IBS. Clinical hypnotherapy will reduce levels of stress and anxiety and help restore relaxation through hypno desensitisation and self hypnosis.
